You certainly may. As a matter of fact, there is another equation of mine that I made a mess of somewhere along the way:

8 + 8 = 91

I've grown rather fond of it. Unfortunately, the laws of mathematics demand that the equation be balanced. What can I do to balance the equation without altering it at all?
