No. 001 - Simple Addition [Written]

[It's about time to give this device a go. In neat, legible writing is simply the following:]

5 + 5 + 5 = 550

It appears I have my arithmetic out of sorts. However, it would be a shame to scrap the equation entirely. Can you help me correct it by adding a single straight line?

What's being diligent? Is Yotsuba not very diligent right now?

Diligence is a constant and earnest effort to accomplish something. So if you are diligent in your studies, you study hard and often. Would you say that describes you?

No! [Points for honesty.] School is fun, but then Raine talks about boring stuff so Yotsuba draws pictures. There was a bird outside so I drew it in a tree, do you want to see? It's good, a real masterpiece!

I would be delighted. What sorts of things does Raine talk about?

[She don't need no picarats man. The heck are those anyway, can she eat them?]

There it is, that's what Yotsuba drew when there was a bird, it looks really feathery. It's the best! Raine talks about worlds and words and lots of things, she teaches people stuff.

[She can eat them, and then she will poop puzzles and bonus features.]

Oh, that is quite the masterpiece. It may be one of the most charming portraits I feather seen.

[Sounds painful.]

... Ahaha! I got it! You said feather and there's a bird and feather sounds like I've ever, right? Right, Yotsuba is right! You're funny!

[It's how they smuggle puzzles into prison.]

Ha ha ha... well yes, thank you. I may be no spring chicken, but I like to think my sense of humor hasn't flown the coop quite yet.

[What sort of puzzles have to be smuggled into prison anyway.]
