[It's about time to give this device a go. In neat, legible writing is simply the following:]

5 + 5 + 5 = 550

It appears I have my arithmetic out of sorts. However, it would be a shame to scrap the equation entirely. Can you help me correct it by adding a single straight line?

I wouldn't! I don't go to school though, so me doing an exam is unlikely to happen.

How was his name pronounced?

That's a tricky one. Give me a minute.

[ She takes a good look at the name, trying to figure it out. She says the name several times to herself, stressing and elongating the Os in different ways but nothing seems to be the right answer. ]

[ Hilda takes another look at the name and counts the number of Os. There are eight of them. Of course. When the answer comes to her, it's so obvious. ]
