No. 001 - Simple Addition [Written]

[It's about time to give this device a go. In neat, legible writing is simply the following:]

5 + 5 + 5 = 550

It appears I have my arithmetic out of sorts. However, it would be a shame to scrap the equation entirely. Can you help me correct it by adding a single straight line?

It wasn't the first one that came to mind, but it's more fun to think outside the box a little.

Though, I don't know if I'd call your arithmetic "out of sorts." It's just awful. I mean, being five hundred thirty-five off is kind of a big deal.

To cross it all out.

[Joking aside, she rewrites the equation. This time, it becomes 545+5=550.]

So, I'm kind of doubting you were actually having trouble with this. Are you having fun?
rocketpunch: (Right?)

You, too? When I first arrived, I noticed that they were communication devices, but they're so much more than that. In theory, they'd have to connect to some kind of "magical" server, but there's never any lag or disruption. I've never seen anything like them.

Welcome, too, I guess. You're new, then.
rocketpunch: (you're wrong)

No. The computer server. In terms of Earth technology, I think it was invented in the 1990's. I guess you've never heard of it, so never mind.

What're you trying to investigate? There's a whole guide written about this place that's going to be more useful than just looking around.

Good luck with that. [She's skeptical bro.] If you figure out anything major, you should probably let people know, but I don't think that'll be an issue.

I'm Precis, by the way. Precis F. Neumann.
